Dr. Patricia Schremp

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Dr. Patricia R. Schremp, DC, 78, of Perryville died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014 at Independence Care Center of Perry County in Perryville.

She was born Nov. 21, 1935, in Perryville, daughter of Henry A. and Catherine Jane Doll Mattingly.

She was the beloved wife of Weldon Schremp for 61 years. They were married April 25, 1953. He survives in Perryville.

Patricia was a doctor of chiropractic for 35 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno, Missouri.

Other survivors include two sons and one daughter, William J. Schremp of Florissant, Missouri, Victoria L. Schremp of Perryville and Mark Allen Schremp of Perryville; two brothers and one sister, John Parres of Bonne Terre, Missouri, Jackson Bishop of Denver and Rosella Fahrner of Fairview Heights, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Herman Amschler.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 6:30 to 9:15 a.m. Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A parish wake will be at 7 p.m. Sunday and the rosary at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

She will then be taken to Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church for Mass at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Entombment will be in Mary Queen of Heaven Mausoleum.

Memorials are preferred to the Kidney Foundation of America.
