The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Henry L. Hawkins, 20, 919 N. Frederick St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for failure to pay fine and cost for stealing.
• Tyler D. Doublin, 26, 246 F St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for a probation violation for careful and prudent operation required.

Assaults

• An assault and property damage were reported.
• An assault was reported at 1519 William St.

Theft

• Theft of license plates was reported at 318 N. Fountain St.

Burglary

• Numerous items were reported stolen from 1418 Bertling St.

Miscellaneous

• Violation of an order of protection was reported.

DWI

• Sarah R Hamm, 33, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and endangering the welfare of a child.

Arrest

• Donald L. Hunsaker Sr., 49, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for not wearing a seat belt.
