CAPE GIRARDEAU POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Two juveniles were cited into juvenile court on suspicion of possession of tobacco, stealing and shoplifting.
• Robert Haynes, no age given, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of two accounts for failure to appear.
• Derrick Reed, no age given, 219 S. Pacific St., was arrested on a warrant and on suspicion of possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana.

Thefts

• Second-degree robbery was reported at 200 S. Lorimier St.
• Theft of a firearm and burglary were reported at 1451 Luce St.

The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Shannon L. Smith, 43, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana and on a Jefferson County warrant for failure to appear for driving under the influence.
• Rickey N. Kelley, 53, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for striking a stopped vehicle.
• Shane R. Steck, 35, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of invasion of privacy.
• Nicolas R. Bruce, 22, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation of possession of a controlled substance.
