Mary C. Tallent Hill, 72, of Lawson, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, at her home.

She was born May 20, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Willie M. and Mary Opal Niswonger Tallent.

Mary was a longtime member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Liberty, Missouri.

Survivors include two daughters, Mylinda (Anthony) Peoples and Kimberly (Charlie) Schmitz; four grandchildren, Kourtney (Chad) Elliott, Amber (Antony) Floyd, Timothy Schmitz and Lauryn Schmitz; four great-grandchildren, Kolton and Macey Elliott and Layla and Jackson Floyd; and two sisters, Margaret Tallent and Martha (Norm) Reitmeyer.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gary Lee Kimball in 1973; second husband, John C. Hill in 2004; a stepson, Jay Hill; twin grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter, Sadie Elliott.

The funeral was Saturday at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. Graveside service was Monday at Eastlawn Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.

Hidden Valley Funeral Home in Kearney, Missouri, was in charge of arrangements.
