Mary Alice loved to laugh and enjoyed being in the company of others. She enjoyed playing Scrabble, cards, camping, fishing, music, dancing, the St. Louis Cardinals, family gatherings and her faithful canine companion, Sally. She was employed by Parks College 10 years prior to retiring, where she enjoyed meeting aeronautical students from all over the world. Her door was always open to friends and neighbors.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Monday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Robert Wright officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.

A special thanks to Southeast Hospice for their compassionate care and to Ann Davis, who served as caregiver to assist the family.
