Delores Krauss, 75, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 13, 1938, in Advance, Missouri, to Pyrtle and Ruth Masters Seabaugh. She and Orville Krauss were married April 13, 1958, in Advance.

Delores was a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She was an accomplished musician and taught music 30 years in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Cape Girardeau. After retiring from the Cape Girardeau School District she was a real estate agent. Delores received many awards in music and real estate. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Orville Krauss of Cape Girardeau; five children, Carissa (David) Albers of Kansas City, Missouri, Eric (Liz) Krauss of Cincinnati, Melissa (Ron) McCarthy of Kihei, Hawaii, DeAnna (Steve) Klokkenga of Chicago and Cassandra (Corey) Saranillio of Cape Girardeau; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four brothers; and three sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Annie Jahnnsen.

Friends may call from noon until service time Thursday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Conley officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
