ULLIN, Ill. -- Neal Reagan, 86, of Ullin died at 6:40 am Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at his home.

He was born July 5, 1928, in Mounds, Illinois, son of Cyrus and Eva Wilkerson Reagan. Neal married Glendora Harpe on Sept. 23, 1950, and they enjoyed 64 years of faithful marriage.

Neal owned and operated Reagan's Supermarket in Ullin until 1999, where he served the Ullin community for more than 50 years. Neal was synonymous with Ullin, and will always be part of the little town's history. Not only did he serve his community, but he also served our country in the United States Army and was in the Korean War. Neal was a member of American Legion Post No. #178 and worshipped faithfully at Cross Road United Methodist Church. His church and his family meant everything to him.

Survivors include his wife, Glendora Reagan of Ullin; four sons, Alan (Charlotte) Reagan, Lee (Kim) Reagan, Randall (Karen) Reagan, all of Ullin, and James (Lorey) Reagan of Cape Girardeau; one daughter, Lisa (Larry) Thomas of Carbondale, Illinois; eight grandchildren, Jeremy (Chelsie), Matt (fiancee Lizzie), Bradley, Allyson, Kayla, Tatiana, Breanna and Kent; niece, Sandy (Gerald) Sims of Ullin; nephews, Brad, Mark and Chris Lancaster; and many other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ray (June) Reagan; and sister, Margie (Ray) Lancaster.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Cross Road United Methodist Church in Ullin.

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with the Rev. Cecil Atchison and pastor Pete Vinson officiating.

Interment to follow at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens. Military honors will be accorded by area veterans and the Illinois National Guard.

Memorials can be made to Cross Road Methodist Church.
