Mrs. Schmit is the former Nicole Good, daughter of William and Rhonda Good of Zimmerman, Minnesota. She is a dental assistant at Jackson Dental. Schmit is the son of Paula Schmit of Garrison, Minnesota, and the late Scott Schmit. He is a firefighter with the city of Cape Girardeau.
