Betty Jean Livingston, 82, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born Nov. 17, 1932, at Bell City, Missouri, daughter of Walter and Della Thompson Arnold. Betty owned and operated Boss Hog Cafe in Bell City for 9 years. She had also been a homemaker. Betty Jean Livingston, 82, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 17, 1932, at Bell City, Missouri, daughter of Walter and Della Thompson Arnold.

Betty owned and operated Boss Hog Cafe in Bell City for 9 years. She had also been a homemaker. Her pride and joy was her flowers and yard. She had recently took up painting.

Betty and Floyd Livingston were united in marriage on Jan. 13, 1949, at Benton, Missouri, and he preceded her in death on July 21, 2007.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Shari and Brad Eggimann and Marsha and Kim Kramer of Lake of Egypt, Illinois; a sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Larry Strobel of Bell City; two grandchildren, Tyler and Katherine Eggimann and Kylie and Floyd Schulz; a great-grandchild, Beckham Carson Eggimann; and beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Everly, and her parents.

Visitation will be 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Morgan Funeral Chapel at Advance, Missouri.

The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with LaDonn Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Bell City.
