Garrett Gandolfo had three RBIs to lead the Southeast Missouri State baseball team to a 13-6 win over host Alcorn State on Thursday in Lorman, Mississippi.

Southeast (3-1) held a 3-2 lead after two complete innings and added one run each in the fourth, fifth and sixth frames before exploding for seven runs in the sixth inning.

Andy Lennington finished 2 for 3 with two RBI and three runs scored for the Redhawks.

Zach Moore (1-0) earned the win on the mound. He allowed no hits and had two strikeouts, no walks and no earned runs in 2 2/3 innings of work.

Devontae Thompson (0-1) suffered the pitching loss for Alcorn, which dropped to 1-3 on the season.

Southeast will take on Illinois State at 7 p.m. today in the first of a three-game series in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
