I-55 in Cape, Scott counties reduced for bridge improvements

North- and southbound Interstate 55 in Cape Girardeau and Scott counties will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform bridge improvements. The span is between mile markers 90 and 105, according to a Missouri Department of Transportation news release. The work will take place from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily Sunday through April 1.
