The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated and driving while revoked.

Arrests

  • Lindsey N. Campbell, 20, and Christie L. Yon, 17, both of Jonesboro, Illinois, were arrested on suspicion of stealing clothing and jewelry at 3049 William St.
  • Brandon N. Bierschwal, 24, 559 Timon Way, was arrested on suspicion of assault.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of resisting arrest and curfew violation.

Summonses

  • Loretta W. Dodd, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for striking a legally stopped vehicle.
  • Jacob R. Colyott, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for careless and imprudent driving.

Theft

  • Money was reported stolen.

Property damage

  • A window, windshield wipers and a valve stem on a vehicle were reported damaged at 1302 Bloomfield St.

Miscellaneous

  • An animal bite was reported.

The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Dametria Scheffer, 29, of Burfordville was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and endangering the welfare of a child.

Arrests

  • Roxanne L. Kasten, 48, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Perry County, Missouri, warrant for passing bad checks -- insufficient funds.
  • Christopher H. Erlbacher, 30, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Stoddard County, Missouri, warrant for nonsupport.
  • Denise M. Pulley, 32, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear for contempt of court.
  • Leslie E. Goldsmith, 35, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for domestic assault and failure to appear for speeding.
