Furlando Davis

Furlando Eugene Davis Sr., 55, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Southeast Hospital.

He was born March 19, 1960, in Cairo, Illinois, to Hudson and Mary Bertha Reed Davis Jr. He and Diana Edna Holley were married April 9, 2012.

Furlando was a retired C.N.A.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Davis; four sons, Furlando Davis II and Starlon Davis of Harrisburg, Illinois, Apollo Davis of Cairo and Adarius Davis of Carbondale, Illinois; a brother, Orlando Davis of Marion, Illinois; a sister, Priscilla Davis of Cairo; and five grandchildren, Avionna Cleaves-Davis, Apollo Davis II, Stardeja Davis, Furlando Davis III and Honesti Davis.

He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Harmony Denise Davis.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with Stafford Moore Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
