The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls.

April 22

• Medical assist calls were made to: South West End Boulevard at 12:06 a.m. and 9:05 a.m.; South Broadview Street at 12:40 p.m.; William Street at 4:06 p.m.; Broadway at 5:53 p.m.; and Cuesta Drive at 10:27 p.m.
• At 2:02 a.m., emergency medical service, excluding vehicle accident, on Towers Circle.
• At 8:18 a.m., smoke detector activation on North Fountain Street.
• At 12:32 p.m., call canceled en route to Bloomfield Street.
• At 5:11 p.m., smoke or odor investigation on Normal Avenue.
• At 5:37 p.m., outside rubbish, trash or waste fire on North Henderson Avenue.
• At 6:55 p.m., gasoline or other flammable liquid on William Street.
• At 7:24 p.m., alarm system activation, no fire, on Woodhaven Road.
• At 8 p.m., vicinity alarm on North Fountain Street.
• At 8:18 p.m., person in distress on North Henderson Avenue.
• At 9 p.m., alarm system activation, no fire, on Bloomfield Street.
