He was a loving husband and father. He was an avid craftsman, enjoyed fishing, touched many lives, was always willing to help others and loved his children dearly...
MARQUAND, Mo. -- James Ernest Mason, 40, of Marquand passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015.
He was born July 3, 1974, in Cape Girardeau.
James was a salesman for Window World. He was a loving husband and father. He was an avid craftsman, enjoyed fishing, touched many lives, was always willing to help others and loved his children dearly.
He is survived by his father, Joe Mason of Thebes, Illinois; his wife, Melissa Mason; and three children, Vincent Tyler Mason, Stoney Brook Mason and Josh Kennett.

He was preceded in death by his stepmother (who he considered his mother), Gabbie Mason.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
