Hayden Lynn struck out five batters, allowed one hit and drove in a run with a sacrifice fly to lead the Central baseball team to a 3-0 SEMO Conference victory over host Kennett on Wednesday.

Lynn carried a no-hit bid into the seventh but gave up a leadoff double.

Central (9-10, 4-3 SEMO) scored its other two runs on errors in the fifth inning to come away with the win.

Saxony Lutheran 5, Chaffee 3

Nathan Hurst pitched five innings of relief and earned the victory in the Crusaders' road win over the Red Devils.

He struck out three and walked four to help Saxony improve to 11-5 on the season.

Chase Steffens went 1 for 4 with a double and two RBIs in the win.

Jake Perkins took the loss, allowing four earned runs in 3 2/3 innings.

Kodi Ballard and Lane Henson each had RBIs for Chaffee (10-9).

Drew Reischman threw a complete game no-hitter in the Eagles' dominant six-inning victory over the Wildcats.

He struck out 10, walked one and only gave up one unearned run on an error in the fourth.

Hunter Schlosser went 3 for 3 with a triple and two RBIs while Preston Hahn drove in four runs and was 3 for 5 in the win for Oran (9-3).

Garrett Thele took the loss for Leopold (2-10). He gave up seven earned runs on 16 hits and struck out four in six innings.

Jackson 3, St. Vincent 1

Jordan Nelson scored a goal in each half and Lauren Welker added another in the second to lead Jackson past St. Vincent on the road.

Welker, Rachel Crites and Grace Pehl each had assists in the win for Jackson (13-1-1).

Lauren Carron scored St. Vincent's lone goal in the loss, which was assisted by Kylie Baer.

Goalkeeper Abby Rollet had 10 saves for St. Vincent (8-8).

Maegan Walker's free kick from about 25 yards out in the first half proved to be the only goal the Hawks needed in a road win over the Blackcats.
