The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Jacqueline V. Mungle, 23, of Sedgewickville, Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.
  • Christopher G. Boettcher, 18, 190 Silk Tree Circle, No. 49, was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear for a show-cause order.
  • Cedric C. Moore Jr., 22, 408 E. Main St., Apt. B, was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while operator's license suspended.
  • Robert J. Barrett, 18, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana under 35 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Larry M. Wilkins, 18, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana under 35 grams.

Summonses

  • Adison G. Abernathy, 20, of Jackson was issued summonses for speeding and a seat-belt violation.
  • DeWayne Clark, 48, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
  • Carmen E. Smith, 40, of Jackson was issued summonses for failure to register a motor vehicle and turn-lane violation.
  • Gary W. Umphlett Jr., 28, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
  • Joshua R. Brown, 29, of Marble Hill, Missouri, was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
  • Joyce A. Porch, 31, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for displaying plates of another.
  • Jeffrey A. Mayfield, 56, of Marble Hill, Missouri, was issued summonses for displaying plates of another, failure to register a motor vehicle and failure to maintain insurance.
  • Justin M. Miller, 25, of Burfordville was issued a summons for a stop-sign violation.
  • Aaron M. Loveless, 23, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for failure to register a motor vehicle, displaying plates of another and operating a motor vehicle while operator's license expired.
  • Tiffany L. Rostron, 23, of Fredericktown, Missouri, was issued summonses for failure to register a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle while operator's license revoked and failure to maintain insurance.
  • Anthony D. Clark, 40, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for operating a motor vehicle while operator's license revoked and displaying plates of another.
  • Jennifer D. Swift, 35, of Scott City was issued a summons for displaying plates of another.

Theft

  • Thefts were reported in the 100 block of South Bellevue Street and the 700 block of Mulberry Street.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported in the 2100 block of Watson Drive and the 900 block of Old Cape Road.

Miscellaneous

  • Assists were requested in the 300 and 3000 blocks of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • Check the welfare was requested in the area of East Main Street and South Shawnee Boulevard.
  • A court-order violation was reported in the 2200 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • A fireworks violation was reported in the 600 block of Odus Drive.
  • Property was found in the 400 block of Green Meadows Drive.
  • Keep the peace was requested in the 1700 block of South Hope Street.
  • Fraud was reported in the 400 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • Peace disturbance was reported in the 700 block of East Independence Street, 800 block of Eagle Drive, the area of Bel Air Drive, 700 block of Oak Street and the area of North Missouri and West Washington streets.
  • Domestic disturbance was reported in the 700 block of Oak Street.
