EPA, where are you?

Hey, where's the EPA when we need them? If they think Fruitland's going to stand still for all the dust they're raising at the quarry, they need to think twice. They can run some trucks with water in it and water those roads down. There's no sense in that. Dust is everywhere. We need help, EPA.

Funeral procession

I was watching a funeral procession on Mount Auburn Road and I can't understand why people won't pull over and give some respect. They just keep driving by. There were a few that was pulled over but there was others that kept passing by, going 90 mph. I don't know what's wrong with people. Somebody needs to start showing respect in this world.

On the lookout

If anyone saw a truck down in Walker Creek by Lombardo Drive after midnight Friday night, May 2, please call police with any information. The thieves cut our chain-link fence, cut through chains that were locked on two ATVs. There was a dusk-to-dawn light shining right over them, but it didn't matter. My husband is retired, worked hard for them, and now they're gone. Please help with any information you may have. One is a 2000 green Honda Rancher, 4x4, with a winch on it. And the other one is a green, 1993 Yamaha Kodiak, 400, four-wheel-drive.

Dirty streets

Cape is talking about their streets and how clean they are. You should see Jackson's streets. They're a disgrace. We live on Birdie Lane near the golf course. And ever since the snow, all the cinders and gravel that they had dumped are still on our streets. My car and house are filthy dirty. I have to was it every two days because of all the dust. I've contact the city of Jackson three to ask the street sweeper to come out here and clean up the mess left over from the snow. This is a disgrace, because of all the taxes we pay in Jackson, that they can't bring the street sweeper out here and clean this mess up that's left over from the snow.

Rebuild what?

I see where Al Sharpton is out here telling these people that "we're going to rebuild Baltimore, and we're going to rebuild Ferguson." Can someone please tell Al that they burned down Baltimore more than 50 years ago and did not rebuild back. They're not going to rebuild back Baltimore. Just like Ferguson. Here it's been eight months. Not one building. They keep talking about having a training center. What are they going to train people to do? Because those businesses are gone.
