The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Nathan D. Jones, 26, 305 Florence St., was arrested on suspicion of assault.
  • Christopher G. Boettcher, 18, 190 Silk Tree Circle, No. 49, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant.
  • Travis C. Rhodes, 20, 824 Strawberry Lane, was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while operator's license revoked, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident and careless and imprudent driving.

  • Emmanuel H. May, 44, of Jackson was issued summonses for failure to register a motor vehicle and displaying plates of another.
  • Joseph A. Graffe, 54, of Jackson was issued a summons for a stop-sign violation.
  • Misty R. Newell, 33, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
  • Christopher L. Franklin, 29, of Jackson was issued summonses for displaying plates of another, failure to register a motor vehicle and failure to maintain insurance.
  • Susan G. Hager, 48, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for failure to register a motor vehicle, displaying plates of another and failure to maintain insurance.
  • Melanie K. Adams, 49, of Marble Hill, Missouri, was issued a summons for failure to maintain insurance.
  • Arieanna A. Lee, 19, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle while operator's license revoked.

Theft

  • Thefts were reported in the 800 block of August Street, the 300 block of Grandview Street, the 2900 block of Old Cape Road and the 300 block of North Bast Street.

Miscellaneous

  • A fireworks violation was reported in the area of Parkview Street and North High Street.
  • Keep the peace was requested in the 700 block of South Hope Street.
  • Peace disturbances were reported in the 900 block of East Main Street, the 300 block of Florence Street and the 500 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • An assist was requested in the 100 block of Grandview Drive.
  • Check the welfare was requested in the area of West Jackson Boulevard and Dotty Lane and in the 800 block of Corinne Street.
  • A court-order violation was reported in the 2200 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
