Deborah Bueter

LEOPOLD, Mo. -- Deborah Ann Bueter, 60, of Leopold passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born July 4, 1954, in St. Louis, daughter of Walter and Virginia Holzum Elfrink. She and Anthony "Butch" Bueter were married Oct. 10, 1987.

Deborah was a teacher 30 years at Leopold School. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, St. Anne Ladies Sodality PCCW, Prayer Shawl Ministry and Relay for Life.

Survivors include her husband, Anthony; mother, Virginia Elfrink; daughters, Janice Ann and Allison Ann Bueter; and a sister, Patty Ann (Joe) Bohnsack, all of Leopold.

She was preceded in death by her father, Walter.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Missouri. Parish prayers and Knights of Columbus rosary will be at 7 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John's Catholic Church, with the Rev. William Hennecke officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Leopold.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the American Cancer Society.
