An Advance, Missouri, man, died after a highway crash near Gordonville late Saturday.

At 11:30 p.m., Albert J. Begley, 30, was involved in an accident on Route K one mile east of Gordonville, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol website.

Begley was driving a Dodge Ram pickup truck when he veered off the road, went airborne and struck a creek embankment, the report stated.

Begley was wearing his seat belt, according to the report. He immediately was taken to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, where he later died.
