ADVANCE, Mo. -- Albert Jack "A.J." Begley, 30, of Advance passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 16, 1984, in Harrison, Arkansas, to Mike Dale and Kimberly Crader Begley. He married Jillian "Jill" Vandeven on Sept. 16, 2006.
A.J. worked as a diesel mechanic at Scheffer Trucking Service in Cape Girardeau.
He was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Leopold, Missouri, and the Knights of Columbus Council #5898 in Leopold.
He also attended Rock and Roll Church in Cape Girardeau and recently was elected vice president of a local motorcycle club in Marston, Missouri. He was also a member of SEMO 10 in Chaffee, Missouri.
A.J. loved farming, motorcycle riding and collecting Stag beer antiques.
He is survived by his parents, Mike and Kim Begley of Advance; his wife, Jillian "Jill" Begley of the home; their first child that is expected to arrive in November; maternal grandmother, Nelda Crader of Jackson; and paternal grandmother, Amberlene Begley of Harrison, Arkansas.
A.J. was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Albert Jack Crader, and his paternal grandfather, William "Ben" Begley.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Parish prayers will be held at 7 p.m., followed by the Knights of Columbus Rosary.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold, with the Rev. William Hennecke as celebrant.
Burial will follow at Hitt Cemetery near Advance.
