CHAFFEE, Mo. -- JoAnn Dennison, 78, of Elsberry, Missouri, formerly of Chaffee, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Elsberry Health Care Center.
She was born Jan. 19, 1937, in Chaffee to William Henry and Mandy Cook McClain. She married Charles Dennison.
JoAnn was a cook at a nursing home and did janitorial maintenance at Plastenines Manufacturing in Portageville, Missouri. She is of the Pentecostal belief.
Survivors include her husband, Charles of Sikeston, Missouri; three sons, Gary (Carol) and Larry (Terri) Dennison of Troy, Missouri, and Terry Dennison of Portageville; a daughter, Tonya Morefield of Portageville; a brother, Delmer McClain of Chaffee; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Bryan Forrester; and a sister, Peggy Barlow.
Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Robert Poe officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery near Arbor.
