Ghia Marie Hester, 42, of Delta passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 20, 1973, in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, to David Keith and Nancy Marie Brucker Hester.

Ghia was a member of the Arbor General Baptist Church in Arbor. She was a reservation agent for Drury Hotels in Cape Girardeau.

Ghia cherished spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was a big St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed attending games with family and friends.

She was a very special gal to so many of us. Although we have to be apart for a short time, we will always have those wonderful memories that we shared together. We have been so blessed to have Ghia Marie Hester as our daughter, sister and aunt. Her light spirit, loving nature and caring personality touched so many people.
