Trump's card
I do not care if you are a Democrat or a Republican. We all should agree that Donold Trump will be out when the media stops caring. It is about ego and being seen, not about being the President.
Complexities
Thanks to Cape City Councilwoman Loretta Schneider for putting the brakes on this sports complex proposal. The other members of the council seem to be downright manic in their ecstatic excitement to rush to judgment over the Mid America proposal. Thankfully, the wise and experienced Schneider calmly looked at the underlying suppositions on which the proposal rested, perhaps saw that some of them might be too rosy and decided it was necessary to put the brakes on before the train left the station and, somewhere down the line, the taxpayers were left holding the bag. Hopefully, other council members will settle down and regain a grip on their lost rationality.

Only in Southeast Missouri could people kill an albino deer or a little black bear and justify it, while displaying their National Rifle Association sticker on their car.

Mow it, culprit
Having read the "Tattle Tale" submission recently I have to ask the author, Do you think you and your behaviors may be the actual problem? Not mowing your lawn and parking on your lawn are both covered by city ordinances. Your so-called "tattle tale" neighbors are probably concerned about maintaining the value of their hard-earned investment. You appear to not respect or value your own property much less your neighbors'. Possibly you rent and have no skin in the game. That's a very poor example for your children to see. You are not the victim. You are the culprit. Hopefully the city will monitor your residence to ensure you stay compliant with its ordinances.
