Doris Ann "Doe" Brock, 87, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at her home.

She was born July 5, 1927, in St. Louis to Ulric James and Marie E. DeClue Suiter. She and Dr. M. Allen Brock were married at St. Louis in 1951, and were happily married for 34 years when he passed away in 1985.

Doris was born and raised in St. Louis, graduating from Ursuline Academy. She and Dr. Brock were married in St. Louis and moved to Cape Girardeau when he opened his chiropractic practice.

She devoted her life to the two loves of her life, Dr. Brock and their son, Dennis. Doris served as den mother for the Cub Scouts at St. Mary's School. She was very active in her church until her husband, Dr. Brock, passed away.

She was a member of St. Mary Cathedral. Doris was retired from Cape Mutual Insurance Co. after more than 30 years of service.

Survivors include a son, Dennis (Tammy) Brock of Cape Girardeau; a granddaughter, Megan Brock of Cape Girardeau; a grandson, Zachary Brock of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ulric "James" Suiter; her mother, Marie E. DeClue Suiter; and a brother, Jim Suiter.

Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Funeral Home Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Cathedral in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
