Walker, the sequel

I'm the one that put in the paper the first time about Gov. Walker and Gov. Nixon. I am retired from the state of Wisconsin. Gov. Walker cut all the unions so there is no more. He also spent more money. Walker went places and had a really good vacation on the taxpayers' money. And it is a right-to-work state. Do the history. Check your facts before you put something in the paper. He did go to a right-to-work state. You'll be glad to know that if Bush gets into office, he wants to go to no minimum wage, and he wants you to work more hours instead of less hours and no extra pay for time and a half. I'm assuming, the way you worded stuff, you're one of the rich Republicans that really don't care about what happens to the middle class people or the poor and poverty-stricken people. Again, I am retired union out of the state of Wisconsin. And, yes, Gov. Walker did do away with all the unions. And he is not a good deal.

Trumpeting

Donald Trump has sure opened a lot of eyes and ears, and our mouths, our voices can be heard through his. Because everything he's saying is what most, the majority of us, have been thinking and too afraid to speak here in America, the land of the free. But if we want to continue to be free, we had better vote in the right president in the next election, or our children and their children are doomed.

Gas prices

I can't understand that the prices of gas in Cape Girardeau seem to be staying 2 cents, they go down 2 cents when gas drops $1 a barrel. But when it goes up 20 cents a barrel, it goes up 20 cents overnight. Then it takes like a month and a half or two months to get down to $2.38, which it is in most locations right now. It's even $1.20 something the farther south you go. But it seems like Cape Girardeau, when it goes up, it goes up and it takes forever to go down. But when goes up overnight, it jumps up 20 cents overnight. It's never dropped 20 cents overnight here. I think somebody should look into these prices, because it seems like there are three prices that own the whole area.

Guns are the problem

Not only did President Bush and his Republican friends get 4,000 American soldiers killed in Iraq, the greedy Republican legislators are now getting the American soldiers killed right here in the United States as they want anybody to have assault rifles. No one needs a gun that will hold more than eight bullets unless they are law enforcement or military.

Klan activity

I was shocked to see that the president was threatened by the Klan in Oklahoma. Waving the disgusting flag of the C.S.A., it is sad to see the Klan is alive and well.

Gun uses

Only guns people need are the ones for hunting wildlife game to eat. Not the ones in the hands of the insane killers. Of which we have now because of their stupidity and greed.
