Police respect

Let's give these officers the respect they deserve, for who knows, you might be the next one that they lay their life down for.

Jensen's right

This is in regard to Mike Jensen's article on "phony urban legend." That is so truthful. We tend to blame and blame the police officers. And like every occupation, there's bad in every occupation. But there's far more good. And we seem to be concentrating on just law enforcement being at fault, when, as he said, as a society we need the families to realize the importance of just personal responsibility, taking responsibility for your actions. Mutual respect. And significance of authority, knowing how to respect authority.

Brown's legacy

Michael Brown has been almost made out a hero. He even has a memorial made for him. Yes, it has been a year, but every time I read anything about him, nowhere does it mention what he had just done? He even, I heard, had a juvenile record. But to hear everybody, everything said, he was a good little boy -- and I emphasize "little" -- who rose from what I saw when he pushed the store owner, a big boy -- and I emphasize "big." Why is he a hero?
