EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- A Mississippi County, Missouri, man faces sexual misconduct charges after his neighbors told police he intentionally exposed himself to them.

Mississippi County Sheriff Keith Moore said the investigation began Wednesday evening, when deputy Marc Tragesser received an indecent-exposure complaint from a resident in the Eagles Landing subdivision.

During the course of the investigation, Tragesser interviewed several witnesses and gathered electronic evidence that gave him probable cause to believe 80-year-old Maurice Woodrow Debaun of East Prairie intentionally had exposed himself to several neighbors, including a 5-year-old girl.

Debaun was taken into custody and transported to the Mississippi County Detention Center.
