Arrests

  • Edward F. Roberts, 29, of Jackson was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for trespassing.
  • Matthew A. Cook, 28, 45 West End Blvd., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for a probation violation for burglary.

Summonses

  • Brett M. Lamont, 26, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for animal neglect and failing to provide a clean living area with a required animal license.
  • Claudia J. Hoffmeister, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to show proof of insurance.

  • Assault and property damage were reported.

Thefts

  • A wallet was reported stolen at 121 S. Sprigg St.
  • A cane was reported stolen.
  • A cellphone was reported stolen at 417 Broadway.

Burglaries

  • Lanterns were reported stolen at 3925 Granite Drive.
  • Alcohol and a firearm were reported stolen at 505 N. Kingshighway.
  • Burglary and fraudulent use of a credit device were reported.
  • Tools were reported stolen from a storage unit at 1815 Cape LaCroix Road.

Property damage

  • Damage to a vehicle was reported at 2850 Whitener St.
  • A window was reported broken at Soo Vape, 703 Broadway.
  • A door frame was reported damaged at 516 Cape Meadows Circle.
  • A coin-operated air compressor was reported damaged and money was reported taken at Bi-State, 920 N. Kingshighway.

Miscellaneous

  • An 11-year-old boy was taken into custody for being beyond parental control.
  • A 22-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
