Niswonger is the son of John and Lisa Niswonger of Gordonville. He is an agency development manager for Colonial Life.

Mrs. Brodie is the former Brittany Rayburn, daughter of Robert Rayburn and Jeanna Rayburn, both of Cooter. She is a child-support investigator with the Pemiscot County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. Brodie is the son of Ronnie Brodie and Tammy Brodie, both of Caruthersville, Missouri. He is an electrician with Nucor Yamato Steel.
