CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded to the following calls Thursday:

• Medical assist calls were made to Independence Street at 1:34 a.m.; Clark Avenue at 6:36 a.m.; Mill Street at 6:42 a.m.; South Fountain Street at 7:09 a.m.; Good Hope Street at 8:39 a.m.; Melrose Avenue at 8:47 a.m.; South Lorimier Street at 11:32 a.m.; Independence Street at 8:27 p.m.; South Main Street at 10:09 p.m.; Dumais Drive at 10:10 p.m.; and Brink Avenue at 10:43 p.m.
• At 6:07 a.m., malicious, mischievous call on Boutin Drive.
• At 6:14 a.m., alarm system sounding on Farrar Drive.
• At 7:46 a.m., detector activation, no fire, on Bloomfield Road.
• At 5:03 p.m., electrical wiring/equipment problem on Doctors' Park Drive.
• At 6:54 p.m., unauthorized burning on North Spanish Street.
• At 9:09 p.m., call to Kiwanis Drive.
