Ronald Gilmer

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Ronald Louis Gilmer, 71, of Perryville, formerly of Chaffee, Missouri, passed away Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015, at ClaRu DeVille Nursing Center in Fredericktown, Missouri.

He was born Aug. 12, 1944, in Chaffee to Louis and Marietta Mantel Gilmer. He and Christine Gilmer married Jan. 10, 1966.

Ronald was of the Baptist faith, and was a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Christine, of Fredericktown; a daughter, Kimberly Guillossou; a son, Ronald Gilmer Jr.; two sisters, Judy (Warren) Millham and Linda (Thomas) Little; a grandson; nieces; nephews; and a special friend, Janet Smith.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, with the Rev. Gerald Collier officiating.
