MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Lorna Fay Long, 59, of Marble Hill passed away Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015, at her home.

She was born Feb. 29, 1956, in Hayti, Missouri, the daughter of Woodrow W. and Maggie C. Russell Long.

Lorna worked for Walker and Associates as an in-home care provider.

Survivors include a special friend, Jack Weaver of Clubb, Missouri; her mother, Maggie C. Long of Marble Hill; sons, Steven (Pam) Strong of Patton, Missouri, and Bear (Heather) and Jackie (Jill) Strong of Scopus, Missouri; daughter, Donna (Generro) Martin of Patton; brothers, Jimmie Long of Patton, Joe and Cecil Long of Marble Hill, Billy Long of Millstadt, Illinois, Danny Long of Columbia, Illinois, Gary Long of Mexico, Missouri, and Bruce Long of Grassy, Missouri; sisters, Judy Stacy of Little Rock, Arkansas, and W. Jean Green of Marble Hill; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren and one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her father, Woodrow Long, and sister, Sandra Brown.

Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Otis Long officiating. Burial will be in Cook Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested for the Cook Cemetery Fund.
