Arrests

• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of stealing and possession of a controlled substance at 315 Shirley Drive.
• Michelle E. Cox, 43, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for assault.
• A suspect was in custody on suspicion of third-degree assault at Broadway and Sprigg Street.

Burglaries

• Burglary was reported at Cape Auto Sales, 1105 Independence St.
• Burglary was reported at 300 Good Hope St.

Thefts

• Theft was reported at Saint Francis Medical Center.
• Theft was reported at McGuire Dental, 1736 Broadway.
• Theft was reported at 633 Themis St.
• Theft was reported at 805 S. Ellis St.

Property damage

• Damage to a motion light and gate were reported at 19 S. Spanish St.

Miscellaneous

• Unlawful possession of a weapon was reported.
• A request for service was reported.
• A 24-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
