For the second time this season Southeast Missouri State junior running back Tremane McCullough has earned the honor of Ohio Valley Conference Newcomer of the Week.

McCullough, who was named newcomer of the week Oct. 4, received the recognition Sunday after rushing for 138 yards and a touchdown in the Redhawks' 38-17 win vs. Tennessee Tech.

McCullough, who transferred from Arizona Western Community College, had an 81-yard rushing touchdown in the victory, which snapped a two-game losing streak.

The TD run was the fourth longest in school history and the second longest in the conference this season.

McCullough now has a league-best four 100-yard rushing games and is 17th in the country with 6.17 yards rushing per carry.

Jacksonville State quarterback Eli Jenkins was the offensive player of the week and Gamecocks linebacker Dawson Wells was the defensive player of the week.

Eastern Kentucky punter Keith Wrzuszczak was the specialist of the week.
