CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• Michelle E. Cox, 43, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for assault.
• William D. Foutz, 46, 68 Plaza Way, was arrested on suspicion of DWI and driving without headlights at William Street and Park Avenue.

Summonses

• Jamie M. Nichols, 27, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for display of prohibited items and nuisance declared.
• Shawnique D. Merriweather, no age given, of Tamms, Illinois, was issued summonses for striking a lawfully stopped vehicle and having no insurance at Route K and Saint Francis Drive.
• Armando L. Colon, no age given, of St. Louis was issued a summons for following too closely at Route K and Mount Auburn Road.
• Frances M. Draffen, no age given, of Kennett, Missouri, was issued a summons for failure to maintain a single lane at Interstate 55 and Route K.

Robbery

• Robbery was reported.

Theft

• A magnetic traffic counter was reported stolen from the city of Cape Girardeau at South Hanover and Cousin streets.

Miscellaneous

• Unattended death was reported.
