Hilda B. Renner, 93, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015, at The Lutheran Home. She was born Tuesday, Oct. 3, 1922, in Perry County, Missouri, to Jesse and Francis Schumer Welker. She and Anton Renner were married Oct. 3, 1942, at Highland, Missouri. He passed away in 1964. She later married Andrew Renner, and he passed away in 1986...

Hilda B. Renner, 93, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015, at The Lutheran Home.

She was born Tuesday, Oct. 3, 1922, in Perry County, Missouri, to Jesse and Francis Schumer Welker. She and Anton Renner were married Oct. 3, 1942, at Highland, Missouri. He passed away in 1964. She later married Andrew Renner, and he passed away in 1986.

Hilda worked at Southeast Hospital as a sterilization specialist for 23 years. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sons, Mike (Brenda) Renner of Cape Girardeau and Donnie Renner of Perryville, Missouri; five daughters, Bonnie Powell of Grandin, Missouri, Anna (Jim) Lynch of Benton, Missouri, Betty Cruce of Cape Girardeau, Mary (Mark) Heidbreder of Houston and Peggy (Stan) Huber of Silva, Missouri; two brothers, Glennon Welker of Cape Girardeau and Wilbert Welker of Jackson; a sister, Beulah James of Denver; 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, one brother and three sisters.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau, with Father David Hulshof officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
