Notre Dame sophomore Alaina Baumgart placed third with a time of 19 minutes, 17.72 seconds, and the Bulldogs girls cross country team finished third in the team standings at Saturday's Class 3 state meet in Jefferson City, Missouri.
Ste. Genevieve won the girls' title with 52 points while MICDS took second with 91 points.
On the boys' side, Festus had 47 points to win the state crown. Ste. Genevieve took second with 74 points, and Westminster Christian placed third with 123 points.
