OLMSTED, Ill. -- Bobby Joe Robertson, 85, of Olmsted passed away at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015, at the Southgate Health Care Center in Metropolis, Illinois.

Bobby Joe was born Oct. 21, 1930, in Perks, Illinois, the son of the late Ernest Robertson and Eva Eller Robertson.

Bobby Joe was a retired maintenance employee with the Illinois Department of Transportation. He was a member of the Saddle Club and the Horse Riders Club.

Survivors include his wife, Katherine A. Simpson Robertson of Olmsted; two sons, Kevin (Charlotte) Robertson of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Kenneth (Jackie) Robertson of Olmsted; four grandchildren, Sidney, Katelyn, Shannon and Mary Robertson; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Illinois.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Alan Milligan will officiate. Interment will be in Masonic Cemetery in Olmsted.
