Virginia Hovis
Virginia Leible Hovis, 96, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015, at The Lutheran Home. She was born Jan. 10, 1919, in rural Kelso, Missouri, to William and Bertha Emma Goetz Leible. She and Dr. Dennis Hovis were married Dec. 31, 1945, at Kelso. He preceded her in death Aug. 21, 1995...Virginia Leible Hovis, 96, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015, at The Lutheran Home.
She was born Jan. 10, 1919, in rural Kelso, Missouri, to William and Bertha Emma Goetz Leible. She and Dr. Dennis Hovis were married Dec. 31, 1945, at Kelso. He preceded her in death Aug. 21, 1995.
She is survived by 16 nieces and nephews.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers Fred and Raymond Leible; sisters Cornetta Seyer, Almerette Gosche, Helen Cox and Dorothy St. Clair; and an infant brother, Albert.

Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Cathedral in Cape Girardeau. Entombment will be at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Mary Cathedral.
