M. Louise Brown, 82, of Jackson died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015, at the home of her granddaughter in Jackson.

She was born Friday, March 24, 1933, in Portageville, Missouri, to Tolbert T. and Bernice Lorene Miles Riddle Meatte.

Louise was married to Harold Lee Brown on July 6, 1949. He died May 16, 1994.

She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She had been a private nanny and a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Theresa (Sam) Farrow and Liz (Kelly) Fluegge, both of Jackson, and Judy (Steve) Hargrove of Dade City, Florida; three sons, Clay (Susan) Brown of St. Louis, Louis (Pat) Brown of Highland, Illinois, and Harold "Buzz" (Pam) Brown of Orion Lake, Michigan; a sister, Mary Stewart of Fisk, Missouri; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a daughter, Pam.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Jackson.

A celebration of life service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Wesley United Methodist Church in Fruitland. Burial will be private.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
