CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Emma Rosetta Spane Pettit, 73, of Chaffee passed away Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015.

She was born to Irene Elsie Rehkoff and Robert Dunn on Jan. 28, 1942, in Cape Girardeau County.

She previously worked for 20 years with Florsheim Shoe Factory and in 1981 became a licensed practical nurse, working 20 years with Saint Francis Medical Center, retiring in 2001.

Loving survivors include a daughter, Diana Dees; two granddaughters, Misty (Philip) Wilhite and Ginger (Eric) Hanselman; four great-granddaughters, Mattison Cline, Anna and Georgia Hanselman and Paige Wilhite; a stepdaughter, Kelly Pettit; and two stepgrandchildren, Josh and Sarah Petitt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Robert Charles Dunn; a sister, Jean Ann Nanna; and husbands, Bill Spane (2000) and Ray Pettit (2014).

A celebration of life will be at a later date.
