The Artist Studio

The Artist Studio will exhibit its holiday series for 2015, "Pear & Partridge," created by Judy Barks-Westrich, as well as new abstract florals. Special guest will be Julia Jorgensen showcasing knit and crochet scarves and shawls. The studio will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Bilderbach's Art Plaza, DazSpell Creations

DazSpell will have herbal teas to bath bombs, lotions, balms and salves, local handcrafted products created with organic and natural ingredients.

Gallery of Inspiration

A variety of artwork created by the consumer artists at the Community Counseling Center will be on display. They will feature "Real Life Sketches' by Rob, who will be on-site doing portrait sketches.

The Painted Wren Art Gallery

A painting by seven local artists and members of the Cat Ranch Art Guild will be on display. The painting was lost for 12 years and found last summer. It will be raffled off, with tickets available for purchase during the reception.

Faces of Con, an exhibition of portraits taken at the 2015 Cape Comic Con by artist Todd Davis, will be on display.

Crisp Museum

From cowboys to steam trains, Jesse James and Huck Finn, the subjects of "America Mythologies" explore the energy, anxiety and conflicted nature of America's conception of itself. The reception will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Transition Spaces 15.2 is an exhibition space devoted to the work of artists within 150 miles of Cape Girardeau. Artwork by Aaron Horrell and Barb Bailey will be on display.

River Campus Art Gallery

The River Campus Art Gallery will host a BFA Graduating Seniors Exhibition featuring specialization in ceramics, digital art, graphic design/illustration, painting, printmaking or sculpture. Reception from 5 to 7 p.m.

Renaissance Vintage Home Decor & Gifts

On Cue Performing Arts Studio

Visit On Cue for a Friday-night dance party. Each evening begins at 7:30 p.m. with a 45-minute lesson, followed by great dance music in swing, salsa, ballroom, Latin and more until 10:30 p.m. $10 per person. Tickets are available for the first performance of "The Nightmare Before Christmas."

The Wright Group

Distorted Memories of Summer Days will be on display from 5 to 8 p.m. Participants were asked to create photographs with mirrors or prisms and digitally edit photographs in a Lomography style of their choice. This exhibition includes art by students taking Digital Art Photo Video in the Department of Fine Art, Digital Art Student Mentors, associate professor of digital art Emily Denlinger and Zack Tucker, media specialist at Heather MacDonald Greene Multimedia Center in Kent Library.
