Patricia Marie Kjer, 71, of Scott City died Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 8, 1943, in Franklin County, Missouri, the daughter of Mary E. Greenwood Thress. She married James D. Kjer on Oct. 19, 1981, and he preceded her in death Sept. 23, 1992.

Pat had worked on the assembly line at Blair Industries in Scott City. She was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by her friend, Marilyn Rhodes of Cape Girardeau. Marilyn took care of Pat during her final days.

Friends may call from noon until time of service Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Rennie Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
