Susan Marie Reed, 60, of Dutchtown died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 14, 1955, in Cape Girardeau to the late Earl Leon and Virginia Marie Estes Obermann Sr.

She was assistant manager at Dutchtown Used Furniture. She served in the U.S. Navy.

She is survived by a son, Stephen Robert (Sarah) Reed of Jackson; two grandchildren, Alexandria and Zachary Reed, both of Jackson; a brother, Larry Obermann of Cape Girardeau; and two sisters, Brenda Carnell of Delta and Donna Davault of Advance, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Jr. and Terry Obermann.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of the service Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Missouri.

Funeral service will be at 7 p.m. at the chapel, with the Rev. Tom Morris officiating.

Burial will be at a later date in St. Edward's Catholic Cemetery in Dutchtown.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to go to Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses.
