Second-seeded Jackson rebounded from its first-round loss on Tuesday with a 60-38 win over No. 9 Dexter in consolation play at the SEMO Conference Tournament on Tuesday in Sikeston, Missouri.

Jacob Smith led the Indians (1-2) with 20 points while Garrett Walker added 11.

Jackson will take on No. 6 New Madrid County Central tonight at 7:30 p.m., during the consolation semifinals.

Dexter, who was eliminated from this year's tournament, got 15 points from Ethan Flowers. Jason Jarrell added 10 for the Bearcats (0-4).

Jackson led by 10 at the end of the opening quarter and held a 30-18 lead at halftime.
