The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Kaelyn M. Stinnet, 17, 731 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on suspicion of a being a minor in possession of alcohol.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of possession of methamphetamine.
  • Ashley J. Moorman, 36, of Waterloo, Iowa, was arrested on suspicion of false declaration.
  • Jonathan Ray Cochran, 30, 1204 S. Ellis St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for a suspended operator's license.
  • Shalon Louise Baker, 36, of Sikeston, Missouri, was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for unlawful cause, and failure to maintain a nuisance property and a Scott County warrant for a traffic offense.
  • Mark Dewayne Sparks, 43, 1111 Giboney Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for driving on the right side of the roadway.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of theft at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Summonses

  • Anetra M. Jackson, 55, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for property damage to a window.
  • James A Clem, 47, of Tullaine, Colorado, was issued summonses for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Jason S. Thomas, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for failure to stay on the right half of the road.

  • Domestic assault was reported.
  • Assault was reported.

Burglary

  • Burglary and damage to a door were reported at 20 N. Pind Wood Lane.
  • A burglary and theft of medications, documents, a cellphone and jewelry were reported at 735 Lexington Avenue.

Miscellaneous

  • Sexual abuse was reported.
  • Counterfeiting was reported at Cracker Barrel, 3261 William St.
  • Child molestation was reported.
  • Property damage, receiving stolen property, resisting arrest and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle were reported.
  • Forgery was reported at 200 S. Mount Auburn Road.
  • A request for service was reported.
