The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

• James Spencer Brasfield, 34, 1019 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.
• Jacob Scott Couch, no age given, of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, was arrested on a Ste. Genevieve County, Missouri, warrant for probation violation.
• A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of resisting by fleeing, careless and imprudent driving and speeding.

Summonses

• Daniel G. Ferrell, no age given, of Benton, Missouri, was issued a summons for making an improper turn at Normal Avenue and Alta Vista Drive.
• Brady T. Glaus, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued summonses for failure to maintain a single lane, leaving the scene and failure to report an accident at Lexington Avenue and Sprigg Street.
• Michael Stanley Houseman, no age given, of Benton, Missouri, was issued a summons for failure to secure a load.
• Zachary M. Green, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for striking a legally stopped vehicle at Route K and Saint Francis Drive.
• Trevor W. James, no age given, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for driving without insurance at Independence Street and Leming Lane.
• Donna S. Ray, no age given, of Morehouse, Missouri, was issued a summons for failure to yield at Independence Street and Leming Lane.

Assaults

• Assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon were reported.
• Domestic assault, burglary and violation of an order of protection were reported.

Burglary

• Burglary and theft were reported in the 1800 block of North Main Street.

Theft

• Theft was reported at Dollar General, 724 Broadway.
• Theft of an iPhone 5C was reported in the 800 block of Broadway.

Miscellaneous

• A 48-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• A 33-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
• An ID badge was reported lost.
• Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported.
