Nedrick Richardo Miller, 33, of Cape Girardeau was charged with second-degree domestic assault after he was accused of attacking his boyfriend.

Cape Girardeau Police officer Shane Bourbon went to an apartment in the 1200 block of Linden Street about 1:30 p.m. Dec. 20 for a report of a domestic assault.

The victim, Miller's 51-year-old boyfriend, said Miller slapped him three times on the left side of his face when they argued about a picture of Miller on the Internet, Bourbon wrote in his probable-cause report.

Bourbon reported the victim's face was purple, with bruising on entire left side of his face, and both of the victim's eyes were heavily bruised with a 1-inch cut across the top of his nose.

Miller's bond was set at $7,500.
